Corporate social events 2015

The corporate social responsibility is an essential value for ESL. One of its goals is to become a leader in its sector in terms of social and environmental responsibility.

The charter of sustainable development that you will find on our Sustainable development section, shows the commitments that the group wishes to undertake in order to achieve this goal.

In recent weeks, various actions of voluntary work were undertaken as part of the ESL commitment to sustainable development :

Ride for the Cause

Ride for the cause is a friendly, cultural and sports event that takes place every year in Montreux. Stand up paddle races are organized and the profits are donated to charities.

This year, our two apprentices Océane Tâche and Jessica Pahud participated to this nice event, representing ESL.

movemberThe Movember challenges men to grow a moustache for the 30 days of November, thereby changing their appearance and the face of men’s health and to raise funds in support of men’s health. Also Mo Sistas (the female ESL staff) can participate by joining the ESL team.

Our online marketing department coordinates this event and you can still register for the challenge! Please find more information on the Internal Contests section.

Aire de Vie

The association “Aire de Vie” is active in Switzerland French part. Its role is to welcomes, accompany and propose activities for socially isolated people.

Our apprentices Anais Perez and Jessica Pahud have accompanied this association and its members for a day outdoors in the middle of the Swiss mountains. During this day, they shared a moment and create a contact with people suffering from isolation.

Clean up Day

The clean up day is a national waste collection day organized in Switzerland.

The town of Montreux organized a waste collection to clean the edge of the lake in cooperation with ESL and 6 ESl staff members from HR Department, Finance, IAC and Web participated.

We thank all ESL employees who are committed to these causes.

We remind you that you can find more information about sustainable development on the HR Wiki and that you can find all our actions on the eco blog. The last actions will be added to the eco blog soon!
